Camp NAONE New Years Update

Through the new year we continue to work and serve the community of Pensacola, NC with rented equipment that has been funded completely through donations and the time of long term volunteers that have been here through winter. Constant progress has been pushed forward with access to skid steers and excavators on a consistent basis allowing for the proper planning and scheduling throughout the valley, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

With your partnership we have been able to rebuild so much that the storm washed away in the last 100 days:

  • We have 500+ total projects that have been entered into our system in the last 100 and at least 150 more before we were digital

  • Currently have completed in excess of 450 projects

  • Replaced two vehicle bridges and two walking bridges

  • Insulated and dried in multiple houses / temporary dwellings

  • Re-settled 10 families, whose homes were destroyed, in campers or temporary dwelling spaces

  • Served over 35,000 meals

  • Donated 2 vehicles to families that had their cars destroyed by the storm

  • Provided access and egress to well over 200 homes with repaired driveways, culverts and gravel

  • Mucked out basements, garages, kitchens and living areas

  • Returned rivers and creeks to their original flows

  • Provided shower and laundry facilities

  • Connected multiple people who had vital communication needs to starlink while creating communication hubs

  • Distributed and installed over 250 generators

  • Distributed well over 600 heaters

  • Repaired countless electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roof, foundation issues

  • Removed trees that caused or threatened to cause damage

  • Distributed over 18,000 gallons of gas, 12,000 gallons of diesel and 4,000 gallons of kerosene

  • Assisted in opening up a new gas station that's opening date was delayed by the storm damage and will be a permanent value add to Pensacola

We have prayed with and practically served so many that we could have never helped without your partnership and contribution.
